How The MoSS intends to document, cite, and credit.

Institutional note published during the founding phase.
A museum is only as credible as its records. Every object The MoSS documents will carry a catalog number, a custody status, and a clear statement of image rights.
We distinguish between objects the museum owns, objects on loan, objects held by partner collections, objects documented digitally, and research references. Where information is uncertain, we will say so.
Historical claims published by The MoSS will be supported by citations. Where we have not yet verified something, we will not publish it.
