A museum
for the street
The MoSS is the beginning of a cultural institution dedicated to understanding how ordinary people, in ordinary places, have shaped the way the world looks.
Street style has shaped the world's visual language — yet the people who created it have rarely been recognised by the institutions that collect culture.
It has influenced luxury fashion, music, sports, youth movements, and social identity. The MoSS exists to preserve those stories — to document the people who create culture, not simply the institutions that commercialise it.
