About The MoSS
The Museum of Street Style (The MoSS) is an emerging cultural institution founded by Egomeli Hormeku, dedicated to preserving, studying, documenting and celebrating street style and its influence on contemporary life.
Our work examines the relationship between clothing, identity, music, politics, community and the cities in which culture takes shape. Through exhibitions, research, photography, oral histories and archival documentation, The MoSS seeks to examine how everyday people have influenced global fashion and visual culture.
The long-term vision encompasses a permanent museum, the Museum of Street Style Institute (MOSSI), and Street Style on Tour. These physical facilities and programmes remain in development; the website is the institution’s current digital platform.
We welcome inquiries from journalists, editors, researchers, photographers, filmmakers and media organisations interested in the development of The MoSS and the histories it seeks to preserve.
